The 60's at Corning

Opening November 17, 2005 at the Corning Museum of Glass in New York, "Decades in Glass: The '60s" explores the widespread burst of artistic activity that marked the early years of the American Studio Glass movement in the context of European and American design.

The exhibit will feature work by Marvin Lipofsky, Edris Eckhardt, Richard Marquis, and (of course) Harvey Littleton – among others.

Those fortunate enough to attend the free exhibit opening on Thursday, November 17th will be treated to music by cellist Hank Roberts, a "visual multimedia interpretation of the '60s" designed by Tony-nominated set designer Jerome Sirlin and a live glass blowing demonstration by renowned artist and Glass Art Society founder Fritz Dreisbach.

"The 60's" will be on exhibit through April 2, 2006.
