Dan Clayman

Dan Clayman (b. 1957) is a graduate of Rhode Island School of Design. His work is in the collections of many of the most important art museums, including the Renwick Gallery (Smithsonian Institution), the American Craft Museum, The Corning Museum of Glass, and the Museum of Art (Fukui Japan).

Clayman has been included in the prestigious annual New Glass Review seven times. He currently is on the faculty of the Rhode Island School of Design.

Clayman's work often assembles cast glass and metals for what he calls (in the 2006 Bullseye Glass desktop calendar) a "continuing exploration of simple forms that direct light."
