Fusing Traditions (Burke Museum)

In February, I let you know that Fusing Traditions: Transformations in Glass by Native American Artists was exhibiting in Connecticut (USA).

Today, I want to let you know that the exhibit is coming to the other coast. Fusing Traditions opens at the University of Washington's Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture in Seattle, Washington (USA) on October 1, 2005.

The exhibit includes glass art pieces by 19 Native American (and one non-Native American) artists including Preston Singletary (whose red "Tlingit Storage Chest" appears on the cover of the current Bullseye Glass catalog), Tony Jojola, Ed Archie NoiseCat and Robert Tannahill.

At the Burke Museum through December 31, 2005.
